It’s just over two weeks from surgery, and it’s time for the staples to come out.
My friend Lisa is a medical professional and had way too much fun doing this. After my last surgery 6 years ago, she was disappointed to learn a district nurse had beaten her to the staple extraction.
So, this time, she made the most of it.
There is a lot of work still to do and now is the time to ramp up the work.
I have another milestone to aim for… and it’s a big one.
A restless nights sleep and the first medical appointment.
My new knee can now extend and bend fully.
In the blink of an eye, I am back at the physio.
It’s a waiting game until I get the full, confirmed diagnosis. In the meantime, I can get busy with prehab.
